You can further reduce costs by sailing with a friend, and booking early. (before Feb15th)

Prices are set on either a Per Person basis, which offers the individual or couple the opportunity to sail with others, or a Boat Charter basis, which is exclusive to your party, and gives you more control of the agenda.

Examples

One person on their own would use the Per Person rate, and join others on the cruise.

Two people together may choose to join others on the crew on a Per Person basis, or elect to have the boat to themselves on a charter basis.

A group of three may sign up at the Per Person rate, or opt for exclusive use of the boat.

A group of four can exercise more choice and flexibility as to the agenda on the Boat Charter plan.

Discounts of 5% are offered for 2 or more Persons, booking prior to Feb 15th, and the Off Peak season. (Sept 15th to May 24th).

On a Per Person Basis a typical 5 day cruise or course is Cdn.$1,095.00 per person.

A single person making a booking before Feb 15th would pay $1,040.25

Two or more persons making a booking before Feb 15th would pay $985.50 ea.

On a Boat Charter Basis at Cdn.$775.00 per day, two persons would pay as follows if booking by Feb 15th:

Base rate at $775.00 per day, less 5% for advance booking $736.25.
Add meals for two at $25.00 each per day, that's $50.00, and the total daily cost is $786.25/day

For Four persons as above, add another $50.00 per day for meals, thus:- $836.25/day

Calculated over a 5 day trip, cost for each of the four persons would be $1,045.31ea.

For people doing the CYA courses there is a charge of $55.00 per person for the course manual, CYA seal, and exams. For those who have not yet acquired the Canadian Coast Guard Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and wish to do so, a charge of $30.00 is made. 6% GST (Sales tax) applies to all.
